Suggested Shopping for Boudoir Wardrobe
& Stilettos in Tucson
Bring bra/panty set(s) and your own favorite lingerie or cowboy boots, maybe a partner's favorite team jersey—and know that I have a client boudoir wardrobe of quite a few things (except undergarments), including: corsets, evening gloves, satiny slips and other lingerie, a man's tuxedo shirt/tie/fedora for that 1960s' James Bond look, plus 70 pairs of stilettos size 5-12 and a few boots. So cost can be zero to low but if you'd like to add to your collection, in addition to department stores I found the following shops fun to browse.
lovely bras & lingerie:
The Bra Spa–La Plaza Shoppes (E. Tanque Verde Rd just west of where Grant meets Kolb)
6544 E Tanque Verde Rd
Founder/owner Margo & her staff also specialize in fitting women with large breasts.
Bravo Boutique–Plaza Colonial (SW corner Campbell & Skyline)
2840 East Skyline Drive, Suite 140
Owner Katrina says Bravo's "the Nordstrom's of lingerie."
Alice Rae Intimate Apparel–Plaza at Williams Center (SW corner Craycroft/Broadway)
5420 E Broadway Blvd, Suite 224
Bras & lingerie + alterations, also specialize in post-mastectomy items. Plus cool corsets!
Fascinations (south side of Speedway just west of Alvernon)
3658 E Speedway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85716
Wide variety of sexy things.
& don't forget the shoes!
Beyond barefoot and cowboy boots, nothing like a sky-high stiletto says Sexy, if that's the look you're going for. I can't help but think you'll find a pair you love in my collection, although if you choose to buy new, of course all the shoe stores in all the malls—but if you're just buying for the photo shoot why spend the big bucks? You'd be surprised at the number of pretty and pretty-high heels you can find in thrift stores, Goodwills and 2nd-hand shops. Really! Google shows dozens in town. If you're thinking you'll never wear stilettos again, if sharing your photos with a special someone think about how alluring it could be to wear the same shoes from the photos if feeling frisky and sexy at home—remember, you don't have to walk far. ;)
Typically Goodwills are good for shoes (55 & older—Tues/Wed 20% discount), plus a couple favorites below.
Speedway Outlet (north side of Speedway just west of Craycroft)
5421 E Speedway Blvd
Best prices, great shoes!
Goodwill's GoodThreads Boutique (east side of Oracle just north of Guadalajara Grill on Ina)
7366 N Oracle Rd #190, Tucson, AZ 85704
A cut above—prices too—but with intermittent sales.
